Biography:

Professor of Ceramic Design at the “Felice Faccio” State Art School in Castellamonte (TO).

She graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In the same years, she attended the studio of the sculptor Carlo Zauli in Faenza (RA).

In 2011 she was invited to the 54th Venice Biennale by Vittorio Sgarbi. Since 2016 she has conceived, designed and developed artistic/cultural events for the Cantiere delle Arti in Castellamonte. In 2021 she was invited by Matteo Zauli and Gianni Zhang to represent Italy at the first biennial “In bianco. Porcelain in contemporary Italian art ceramics “by Jingdezhen in China.

At the invitation of Ugo La Pietra, she exhibited at the Milan Triennale in “Fittile-Italian artistic craftsmanship in contemporary ceramics”.

She always accurate and renewed the rigorous research of ceramic materials and alchemy; she uses clay (majolica, red earth from Castellamonte, stoneware, porcelain) as an expressive material for poetic communication, experimenting with its plasticity and developing recipes of glazes and crystallines that are unique for the high temperature (1200 ° C).

She intervenes in the artistic/literary field by publishing books and participating in national and international multidisciplinary exhibitions and events. Over the years she received awards and recommendations.
